The acronym ‘LOL’ is an indication of the chatter’s laughing out loud status in online of the virtual world. Notwithstanding its sheer soundless signs with LOL, our mind sees the image of the exhilaratingly laughing face and hears the burst by being rapturous state. as we face the sign. It´s the moment where a virtual world turns to be a real world particularly by immediate transition from visual to aural.
I could say, the process of finding the congruent piano sounds to the real laughters is another transition by interaction between ‘musical’ aspects and ’non-musical’ aspects within a piano. To the pianist is given a extreme task to express the edgy state of burst and the moment of muscular tension at loud laughters
For the tape part I used a couple of tiny fractures of instrumental tone, a minimal phrase of my singing voice which are altered by time stretching, respectively, and couple of unknown laughters from the internet.
